The Verizon Simplicity Plan launched in June 2026 at $45 per month per line with Auto Pay and paper-free billing. New customers who qualify for Verizon's current switch offer can bring that down to $30 per month per line. Taxes and fees are extra.

What Is the Verizon Simplicity Plan?
The Verizon Simplicity Plan is Verizon's new flat-rate unlimited plan. Instead of choosing between multiple service tiers, every Simplicity line gets the same core features for the same price.
That includes access to Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network, which was previously reserved for higher myPlan tiers like Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Ultimate. Simplicity also includes 10GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data, Canada and Mexico roaming, satellite texting, Call Filter, and Verizon Family.
In other words, Verizon removed the "Which unlimited tier do I need?" part of the equation.
Simplicity debuted on June 16, 2026, alongside Verizon's revamped Loyalty program and Verizon One mobile-and-home bundle as part of a broader push to simplify its offerings.
One important note for existing Verizon customers: all lines on an account have to move to Simplicity together. You can't put one family member on Simplicity while leaving another on myPlan.
How Much Does the Verizon Simplicity Plan Cost?
The standard Verizon Simplicity Plan price is $45 per month per line when you're enrolled in Auto Pay and paper-free billing. Without that discount, the base price is $55 per line.
New customers who switch to Verizon may qualify for a $15 Switch & Save discount, bringing the price down to $30 per month per line with Auto Pay.
Unlike myPlan, however, the price doesn't get cheaper as you add more lines.

Verizon describes the $30 switcher rate as a promotional offer, so don't assume every new customer automatically gets it. Check Verizon's current Simplicity terms before switching.
And don't overlook the phrase "plus taxes and fees." The $45 or $30 price isn't necessarily the final amount you'll see on your bill.
Simplicity vs. myPlan: Which Costs Less?
This is where Simplicity gets interesting.
Verizon's myPlan pricing gets cheaper per line as you add people. Simplicity doesn't. That makes Simplicity particularly compelling for one- and two-line accounts, while larger families need to do a little more math.
For example, the standard Auto Pay rate for myPlan Unlimited Welcome is $65 for one line, $55 per line for two lines, $40 per line for three lines, and $30 per line for four or more lines. Simplicity stays at $45 per line.
That means the service-only math can flip as your family grows.
myPlan also offers different hotspot allowances, network access, international features, and phone promotions depending on the tier, so price shouldn't be the only deciding factor.

What's Included With Verizon Simplicity?
Simplicity covers most of the features an average phone user needs without requiring a more expensive network tier.
Here's what comes standard:
- Unlimited 5G Ultra Wideband data: Every Simplicity customer gets access to Verizon's fastest 5G network with a compatible device.
- 10GB of high-speed mobile hotspot: After 10GB, hotspot speeds are reduced to up to 1 Mbps for the rest of the billing cycle.
- Canada and Mexico roaming: Talk, text, and data are included while traveling in Canada and Mexico. Verizon currently includes 2GB of high-speed roaming data before speeds are reduced.
- Satellite texting: Compatible devices can use satellite connectivity for critical messaging when traditional cellular service isn't available.
- 720p video streaming: Video is optimized up to 720p on capable devices.
- Call Filter and Verizon Family: Verizon's spam-blocking and basic family features are included.
- Connected-device discount: Simplicity includes up to 50% off eligible plans for devices such as watches and tablets.
There's one data limit worth knowing about. Verizon says on-device data speeds may be reduced to 4 Mbps after 500GB of usage in a single billing cycle.
That's an enormous amount of phone data for most people, so it's unlikely to matter for the average user. But it does mean "unlimited" still comes with an asterisk if you're an exceptionally heavy data user.
What's Not Included
"Simple" doesn't mean everything is included.
There are a few costs and limitations to know about:
- Taxes and fees are extra. They're added to the advertised $45 or $30 monthly rate.
- Only 10GB of high-speed hotspot is included. Once you use it, speeds fall to up to 1 Mbps for the remainder of the month.
- 4K streaming costs extra. Simplicity defaults to video optimized up to 720p. Verizon's Premium Video Streaming add-on costs $10 per month per eligible line and supports up to 4K on capable devices.
- Entertainment perks cost extra. Services like Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, and YouTube Premium can be added individually or through Verizon's Simplicity bundles.
- Existing device promo credits can be affected. If you're already financing a phone through Verizon with a promotional discount and move to Simplicity, Verizon says you can lose that discount.
That last one is especially important for existing Verizon customers. Saving $20 per month on service isn't much of a win if switching causes you to lose a larger monthly phone credit.
Can You Finance a Phone With Verizon Simplicity?
Yes. This is an important distinction.
Simplicity doesn't require you to bring your own phone. Verizon allows customers to finance a device over 12, 24, 36, or 48 months, buy one outright, purchase a certified pre-owned device, or bring an existing compatible phone.
Verizon also offers separate Simplicity Plus and Simplicity Pro programs that can bundle eligible phone credits with early-upgrade benefits for an additional monthly charge.
So if you need a phone, you have options. Just compare the total cost of the service plus the device rather than looking at the $45 plan price by itself.

Verizon Loyalty Program & Verizon One: How They Tie In
Verizon launched two other major offerings alongside Simplicity, but neither should be confused with the mobile plan itself.
Verizon Loyalty is available to eligible Verizon customers, not just people on Simplicity. Once enrolled, customers can earn 3% back each month in Verizon Dollars and get access to Verizon Shine rewards. Verizon also waives activation and upgrade fees for enrolled customers.
Then there's Verizon One, which combines one mobile line and eligible Verizon home internet onto one bill.
For qualifying new customers, Verizon One costs $70 per month with Auto Pay, and unlike standalone Simplicity, taxes and fees are included. Availability depends on whether eligible Verizon home internet service is offered at your address.
Verizon One is only available to customers who are new to both Verizon mobile and Verizon home internet.
